State Auto insurance comanies has announced it will add personal insurance products on March 15, 2008. This less than a year after the Columbus, Ohio-based insurer acquired Beacon Insurance Group of Wichita Falls.
The new insurance products include:
- CustomFit, which State Auto claims is a flexible product that is easy for insurance agents to write and quote, giving customers the best rates for which they qualify at every renewal
- Prime Of Life, claims to be a unique program for State Farm home and auto policyholders over 45 years of age. SF claims this program will bring substantial premium discounts and outstanding extra-value coverages at no additional charge.
- Identity Theft Protection, offered to all State Auto home and farm/ranch insurance customers at no additional cost. Quite a good deal if you ask me.
A Wylie Texas based insurance agent, John Yeager of Wylie Insurance Agency Inc. says they have been looking forward to State farm making these personal insurance products available to Texans. Adding that the full range of products will help them better compete in the market place. Mr. Yeager goes on to say that State Farm’s reputation for service, strength, and stability will be a great fit for their customers.
Agent James Brown of Amarillo based Upshaw and Brown Insurance agency says
“We have enjoyed great personal and professional relationships with Beacon, now State Auto staff. They really do care about their agents.” and “I want to see State Auto succeed in Texas because it means greater opportunities for agents and greater choice for consumers.”
The State Auto insurance companies are a Trusted Choice® company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
